Hi, I’m Portia
Portia was only a few hours old when she was found in February 2018, facedown in straw, laying motionless with her brother Twitch. The farmer didn’t think they would survive, so he was more than willing to surrender them to Barn Sanctuary. All they needed was a warm blanket, some formula, and extra attention. They bounced back within a few days and spend their days hopping around the pasture as happy as can be.
Portia is known around the sanctuary as the most photogenic goat. She is a little playful beauty who loves posing for the camera, showing off her one white horn and one black horn. She is very sociable, loves head scratches, and enjoys playing chase with anyone who will join in. She sticks with her brother most of the time, but loves saying hello to all the humans she meets too.
