Hi, I’m Lori
Lori and her best mate, Greg, were Barn Sanctuary's first duck residents. In the summer of 2018, They were rescued from a hoarding case, where they had become closely bonded to one another.
After Greg passed away in 2020, Lori was introduced to our smaller ducks, Thor and Liz, who passed away in September 2025. Being the larger duck of the group, Lori became more confident than she had been before. She is more vocal and outgoing than she used to be, but she is still one of our most shy residents.
Lori loves to swim in her duck pool, rain or shine - from sun up to sun down. Once the coop is opened in the morning, she darts straight out of the door and dives right in.
