Both have some ocular issues going on. Skye has been dealing with an eye infection for several months that has mostly gone untreated. The woman who surrendered them did attempt to clean up and treat the eye, but wanted to make sure that she receives veterinary care.

Honey has been getting picked on by her flock mates and her caregiver is suspicious that she has an underlying condition. Otherwise, she is a very spunky girl!

These two ladies were her mother’s chickens and she wanted to make sure they landed in a safe home. They have had their initial health checks and our goals are clear: help them reach healthy weights, address their medical needs, and work toward successful integration into flocks. We’re committed to giving both Honey and Skye the care and attention they deserve as they begin this new chapter.
