Giving Tuesday 2019

Posted December 2, 2019

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow — the biggest giving day of the year.

It is the first week of the last month of 2019. This year was a growth year for us. Our team doubled in size, we spent 6 months out of this year filming for a new TV show set to air on Animal Planet in 2020, hosted two 300+ person events at the sanctuary, invited over 1,600 people out for tours, our rescued animal family doubled in size. We had our first birth at the sanctuary, welcoming 13 piglets into the world. We finished construction on the new pig barn and so much more.

With growth comes challenges—exciting challenges, of course. We are poised to grow our impact, to launch new educational opportunities in 2020, new opportunities to meet the rescues and welcome to public to visit and engage with our mission. But, with all of the new lives in our care we need your support now more than ever.

Barn Sanctuary

We rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected farmed animals by creating a safe haven where these individuals can recover and thrive.

We envision a world in which farmed animals are seen as individuals and treated with empathy and compassion.
