Adam was found wandering along the freeway in the middle of a cold night in January 2017. He and his brother, Matt, were both around eight weeks old when they jumped off of a transport truck in Midland, Michigan. The Humane Society found the boys suffering from road rash and other obvious injuries from the jump. Barn Sanctuary was called, and we took Adam and Matt to the hospital to have their injuries examined and treated. Sadly, Adam’s brother suffered severe internal bleeding and didn’t make it. Adam is a lucky survivor. He will now spend the rest of his life here at Barn Sanctuary where he is free to roam, socialize and live happily.
Adam is a brave, spirited guy who loves being outside and eating fresh clovers. He is a leader who can be very affectionate to those he trusts and is selective about who he chooses to be around. Adam takes his friendships seriously and can be extremely protective of his other pig friends.
